We start from the monastery of Taxiarches, which was founded by Saint Theophanes, the patron Saint of Naoussa, then reach the small church of Ypapanti, once destroyed during the Ottoman occupation, at an altitude of 1088m. The route is marked with the signs of the past. It is a one-hour easy walk among plantain, oak and beech trees, and boxwood. The view is fascinating from uphill. We can listen to the sounds of nature, the flying of birds, our eyes and soul burst with images of unsurpassed beauty.It is the time of year that nature has worn its beautiful, dark-green dress with blossoms spreading on an exciting color canvas.
